Installing a 2nd DVD drive on a XPS 8500

I've just bought an XPS 8500, and put the DVD drive from my old (just over a year old HP that died) PC in the spare bay, of the two cables that plug into such devices, the smaller of the two is not already there, (the one from the HP is too short ).

Which leaves me with 3 questions;

       What is the correct term for this cable (orange ribbon about 1/4 inch wide ) ?

       Where can I purchace such a cable of sufficient length ?

       Which is the correct socket on the motherboard to plug it into ?

Many thanks in anticipation C. A

That is the SATA "data" cable.  It can be plugged into any open SATA port on the motherboard.

Spare SATA data cables do not come with new PC"s, the user must supply that for any added optical or hard drives.
