International Prices (SV & EN)

Hello, I have checked the prices on the Alienware Alpha R2 and has become a bit dissapointed. The price difference is chocking. A desktop which costs 9690kr (1082,39USD) in Sweden costs 7161,83kr (799.99USD) in USA. How could this be?

With Pleasure

It is very likely the cost of doing business in Europe is higher than it is in the USA.  Consumer laws vary - and if memory serves, there is a minimum warranty length required in much of Europe that exceeds that in the USA.  That alone could explain the price difference.

Just about everything (automobiles, electronics, food, etc.) costs more in much of Western Europe than it does in the USA.

Especially since Sweden has a 25% VAT (value-added-tax), to go along with your 57% income tax rate. :emotion-41:
