Is it possible to transplant a computer into a new case?
I have an XPS 8500 and am planning to putting it into the Carbide 300R ([View:www.amazon.com/.../ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00])
I was wondering if it is possible to transplant the motherboard into a new case. I also have a few specific questions.
How do you take the back I/O plate off of the computer?
How to I wire the front panel with the motherboard?
Can I still use the wireless minicard?

Generally, you can't move a Dell motherboard into a non-Dell case. Dell uses customized connections between the front panel and the motherboard, and they don't make the wiring info publically available.
So unless you can map the pin assignments yourself or find the info you will need either in these forums or elsewhere, this is not going to work.
And keep in mind that most of the people answering questions on this forum are volunteers, so have patience if you don't get a response as fast as you want it.

And don't double-post the same question.
