Kaby Lake support for Skylake Optiplex
Does Optiplex 3040, 5040 and 7040 supports Kaby Lake with latest BIOS? I have 3040 Micro and wants to try G4600 for HEVC decode.

Thanks. How about non T CPUs? Does my Micro model supports only 35W CPU as the adaptor is rated at 65W. I have trouble playing 4K HEVC with dual core Pentium G4400T.

No - you're limited to Skylake CPUs on these.

These support only low-power Skylake-T CPUs.
