Kernel32.dll errors driving me crazy

Any idea how I resolve kernel32.dll errors? All of a sudden I'm getting them when I use my browser (explorer 5.5) and yesterday I got one when using limewire (mp3 file share program). Also, today I got an error saying 'lexplore caused error in user.exe' ..... any ideas?
Thanks!

I had a similar sounding problem. One day a friend said he'd heard that IE 5.5 was a bit unstable. I had 5.5 so I went to the windows update site and applied the available service pack. Little/no problems since.

Might be worth a try?

I used to get a lot of these types of errors/crashes. Someone casually said to me one day that they'd heard IE 5.5 was a tad unstable ... I searched on Windows Update site (if memory serves me) and found a service pack ... Applied pack and problems are gone.

One possibility.
