Keyboard only works in safe mode
Have a client with a Dimension 4400, Windows XP home. He thought that he had accidentally turned on "sticky keys" - the Windows accessibility feature. Now starting Windows gets to the "welcome" screen but with no accounts displayed and a beep from the keyboard if any key is pressed.
I can get in under safe mode, turn off sticky keys, keyboard works fine in safe mode. Re-boot normally - accounts still not displayed, keyboard does not work.
Got in to normal mode Windows once after selecting last known good configuration and was able to install NAV and run a scan - which found nothing - and the keyboard did not work in this session.
I'm stumped - any suggestions?

berkeleycomp,
Try a system restore from within Safe Mode. Start -> Run -> MSConfig -> Launch System Restore. Restore to the most recent date before your client first experienced this problem.
