Kids changed display size?

Question

Hello, At some point yesterday the kids were playing an online video game.  Now any printing on a website that I try to view is very small.  My monitor is a 19'.  I tried to resize to 800x600 pixels, but that made everything too large.  At 1024x760 pixels everything is still too small.  Is there any happy medium between these two settings?  Or, is there a way to restore the factory default settings which were working very well until yesterday?   Many thanks for your help...

Also, There is now no 'slider bar' at the bottom of the screen.   (Only on the right side)  Hope this helps to further describe the problem...

Are you saying that when viewing websites the text is too small for you to read? If so you can adjust the text size in your browser by going to the top of your browser under view, then text size, and adjust it there. This works for Internet explorer or firefox browsers.

for the status bar in explorer, just go to view and click status bar
