Linux on Dimension 4700

Question

Is there anyone out there who has a Linux distro working on a Dell Dimension 4700? The only one I managed to install on it is Xandros 3 DeLuxe, but Xandros is not my distro and freezes quite often when restarting my graphical desktop. (New login or changing desktop properties)   Mandrake 10 freezes during install after language choice and Fedora Core 1 and Red Hat 3 WS do not recognize my hard disk....:smileysad:
