Looking to upgrade my graphics card

Hi there,

I've had my Dell Precision T3400 for around 18 months now, however im looking to upgrade my graphics card for better gaming performance. The Pc was originally bought for music production hence i payed no attention to the graphics card.

PC specs are as follows: 375w PSU, Core 2 Quad 2.83Ghz, 4gb DDR2 RAM, 500gb SATA hard drive, Nvidia NVS 290 Graphics card.

Basically looking for a decent Nvidia gaming card without having to upgrade the PSU.

Any help would be much appreciated.

You could look at the 9800 GT cards.  You could also possibly get a Green Power GTS 250 to run with its reduced clock speeds like this one HERE since it has a good cost to it.  After the MIR, it cost the same as the 9800 GT's.  HERE are some 9800 GT's to consider.

According to this review:

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-5770,2446.html

the ATI Radeon HD 5770 is lower power and has faster benchmarks than the nVidia GTS 250.  While it does cost more, it offers more future potential, as well, with DirectX 11, etc.

There are lots of other reviews on the internet that reiterate these results.

Good luck.
