M70 graphics upgrade path? Dell vs. Alienware?

Has Dell made any mention about the upgrade path for the M70 graphics cards?

I'm going back and forth between the Dell and the Alienware. I'd like a machine with a quadro 1440 go card, and dual HD. I really like the M70

The dell seems to offer better battery life, and I like the idea of a 15.4 widescreen with 1920 resolution.

The alienware seems to offer assurance of upgradability, and better processors for multitasking, and math intensive calculations (3D).

I guess right now, the one thing making me lean towards the alienware is that the company has a good history of offering upgrades for laptop graphics.

so the 2 things I'm wondering are
1) Are there any plans to offer graphics upgrades for the M70 as newer chips come out?

2) How is the performance between the true desktop p4 w/hyperthreading and the pentium-m?
