MS Word Insufficient Memory error when saving file
Hi all,
Just want to start by thanking those of you who provide your valuable time to answer folks' questions.
I have a Dell Dimension L933r with 128MB RAM. Lately I haven't been able to save MS Word files without an error message coming up as follows:
"Word has insufficient memory. Do you want to save Document 1 as Rescued Document 2?"
I can save the document as long as I call it "Rescued Document X".
I followed Denny's recommendations on removing programs from the system startup, but I still have this problem after rebooting. System resources are at about 65%. I'm running the Seti At-Home program, but that's only activated as a screen saver.
Thanks in advance for your help.

The error message you are receiving when you attempt to Save is a fairly common Word problem. You didn’t say, but just in case you are using a floppy disk, don’t! Work from your HD then copy back to floppy.
If that is not the case, then try some of these from MSKB:
