Making Notepad default HTML editor, how?
Before I formatted I had somehow made Notepad the default HTML editor for .html files. I could just right click on the file I wanted to edit and there would be an option called "edit". I could click it and the file would open in Notepad, but now it isn't there. Does anyone know how I can get that back in the list when I right click?

Viper2K,
I`m using IE 5.01, Win98. In Internet Properties under Programs Tab, you may choose a default Html editor. I have two choices and Notepad is one of them. You may try there first. If you want "Edit" to be one of the actions when selecting a file, in Windows Explorer, go to View / Folder Options / File Types, scroll down til you find a reference to Html Document, this is how mine reads,
Microsoft Html Document 5.0 (select it )
Extension: Htm, Html
Content Type(MIME): text/html
Opens with: IExplorer
Click edit, then view Actions, click New, type edit in Action box, in Application used to perform action, click Browse and search for Notepad, will be in Windows folder.
I have Front Page Editor set as my default and the box [] DDE is checked.
