Monitor buttons are not working
The monitor i have is displaying fine, but i can't turn it off or alter any settings on the monitor, because the buttons don't react to any presses. When pc is disconnected from it, it just displays changing colors. The power button is glowing green both when pc is connected and when it's not. The monitor is LCD Monitor model no E196FPf as found on the back of the monitor. It has been off for over a year and i don't remember if the buttons were working prior to that. I have no documentation for the monitor other than the monitor itself.

Hi Martyn ,
Based on the information given I can say the screen works fine but then issue is seen with the buttons. Hence I would ask you to provide the part no (D P/N) of the monitor so that I can check the warranty details active on the monitor.
