Monitor resolution in windows 2000???
I just installed windows 2000 professional on my computer. When I right-click on the screen and go to properties-->settings, I only see two options for my resolution: 800x600 and 640x480. Is this my monitor or windows 2000 Pro? I also have windows ME on the same machine and there I have many options for the resolution.

What you need to do is install your video card driver...
What you have installed at the moment is the standard PCI graphics adapter and you need to install the specific driver for your card... You can download the files you need from the file library or you should also have got it with your original CDs.
