Motherboard controller?

hi, can anyone tell me what the controller is?

I want to use the machine for Digital Video Non-Linear Editing and in one site I read:

"Make sure the system has a UDMA66 or UDMA100 EIDE controller built into the motherboard. We do not recommend getting a system with an add-in EIDE controller for the boot drive."

how does the dimension shape up?
thanks

The Dimension 4100, because it has (well, sort of has) an Intel 815 chipset motherboard, does have an ATA-100 (UDMA100, same thing) hard drive controller onboard. I don't know about any other models, though.

I say "sort of has" because apparently Dell has stripped a bunch of things off the standard i815 chipset, for example, the Intel D815EPEA board (which these are -- I looked under one of the Dell stickers) is supposed to have 3 DIMM slots, but the board in the 4100 only has 2, with solder points for a third but no actual slot.

Also, my motherboard has no onboard sound, which the D815EPEA has, and there are other (much more minor) differences.
