Mouse Pointer Ctrl Key Locator
Dimension 9100, Windows XP SP3 32 bit, Dell wireless keyboard & mouse mfgd by Logitech, Logitech Mouse Driver 9.80.
When I goto Mouse from the Control Panel, I do not see the Microsoft properties as I used to, but only Logitech's. I ran Dell Driver Reset Tool and got no errors.
I discovered this problem when pressing the Ctrl key no longer located the mouse. I would like this function back.

Try falling back to the previous driver. Go to the Device Manager, Select Properties for the Keyboard and if the "Rollback Driver" option is available try that. If not, use the System Restore and restore the PC back to a date PRIOR to installing the Logitech software and see if that gets it back to how it used to work.

What I had to do was plug in a wired mouse, Remove Logitech 9.80, then download Logitech 9.79. At this point, going to Mouse Properties showed the Microsoft version and I selected the Ctrl key locater option. I then reloaded 9.80 and the Ctrl locater still worked even though the Mouse Properties was now Logitech's display.
Rollback did not work and System Restore did not go back far enough. Obviously, the Ctrl key locater is compatible with 9.80, just not available to toggle. System must have hiccuped and function was lost long after 9.80 was automajically loaded by my driver update tool..
