My PC Magazine Subscription- Where is it?

Question

I ordered my XPS 700 on July 3rd, and it shipped in August. It included 22 free issues of PC Magazine. In fact, all XPS 700 customers had the option to get these free magazines. It is now November/early December. How come none of my magazines have arrived? Has anyone gotten their copies? This is totally unacceptable. First, the computers took forever to ship. Then the $200 gift cards took forever to ship. Now, I am still missing part of my order--the magazines. Please help me and any other XPS 700 customers who have not received their subscription.

PC magazine can take over 3 months to start a subscription.
Ebayers complain all the time about how long it takes to start subscriptions.

Some time it can take 4 Months depending on when its submitted!
Totally unacceptable but blame Ziff Davis.

I even have a separate order number for my PC Mag subscription. It's still a no-show just like my Gift Card. Is anyone surprised?

They didnt even offer that here in Canada,at least I didnt see it when I ordered...Double Delled!!!!

You are not missing much. I have been getting PC Mag for 15 years and in the last year or so it really has turned terrible. They now review TV's, talk about car audio and other electronic stuff. The reviews are so limited and really poorly done. I have found CPU (Computer Power User) Magazine is a really good alternative. Lots of in-depth articles and good information.

You are not missing much. I have been getting PC Mag for 15 years and in the last year or so it really has turned terrible. They now review TV's, talk about car audio and other electronic stuff. The reviews are so limited and really poorly done. I have found CPU (Computer Power User) Magazine is a really good alternative. Lots of in-depth articles and good information.

So I posted this thread about 3-4 weeks ago, and my magazines are still missing in action. Any updates from you guys? If Dell cannot deliver these magazines (which were a part of my order), then they owe us a $25 gift card.

well not missing much then..I had it a long time ago then dropped it when it got away from PC's and started reviewing and writting about everything but PC's......

It was an option on the config page. They got wrong not once...but twice for me. I ordered 2 XPS 700s. I received no subscription from either one.

Well your opinion is welcomed, but it's almost like saying because the magazine isn't your cup of tea, Dell's avoidance of not providing us with our subscription is justifiable.

I thought you'd be thrilled to know that I've sold my XPS 700. Future proof? Upgradable? Bull.

But, I'm not here to gripe you out specifically. When I ordered my XPS 700, I was to receive a 22 issue magazine subscription from some computer magazine, the specific magazine name escapes me at this point.

Ordered my XPS 700 on July 5th, received it August 24th. It's been five months since I've ordered the computer, is there some issue with the overheating with the magazine covers or what? Can't find BTX pages for the Dell ads, or will you need custom cables that don't exist
