Need GPU upgrade for Alienware x51 r1
I am the owner of an Alienware x51 R1, 330W PSU, i7-3770 @ 3.4GHz, GeForce GTX 555 GPU. I am wondering what the largest GPU I can get for my computer is and where I can get it. Thanks and help will be greatly appreciated!

The X51 R1 has a Riser so I would say that max would be EVGA - GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphic Card EVGA 02G-P4-3751-KR. The power supply cannot be upgraded.

660 will not work nor is there enough power.

Minimum 500 W or greater system power supply (with a
minimum 12 V current rating of 30 A=360W) with two 6-pin PCI Express

From my research I've heard a GTX 660 should fix but I've run into problems finding one that would work with the x51 R1 setup and PSU. I have heard from a Dell representative that GTX 660 reference card or OEM would work with the 330W. I'm looking for the best performance that my PSU and current computer can handle.

Thanks for the information, I'm still looking into it and I'm not sure if I've been misinformed or not. [View:www.dell.com/.../EN]

Thanks for the information and help, I'll take all this into account and do some more research before I make my GPU purchase.
