No Display when I turn on the Dell Inspiron 530

I try to connect my dell Inspiron 530 tower to my TV and it was working fine until recently...I heard loud beep sounds and after reading the forum I removed the dust from the fans and now I dont hear the sound and the fans are running fine but there is no display output/ no light on mouse or nothing happens...Can someone suggest what might be causing this issue?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I would suggest you to drain the residual power from the computer:

o Disconnect any external peripherals (flash drives, printers, external hard drives) from the computer

o Then remove power cable

o Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds

o Reconnect the power cable and run your computer

Awaiting your response

I tried your suggestions, I still see the same issue...Everything sounds fine but nothing on the display or there is no light on the mouse suggesting that the USB has not been enabled. Not sure if the hard drive is even booting up

Hi,

Do this please

a. Reboot the computer.

b. When prompted during POST, press the key to enter the setup screen.

Tell me please if you get to the BIOS or the same issue

Hello,

I removed the fan on the top of the processor, dusted it out and replaced the fan. Followed your first mentioned procedure again and it fixed the issue...

Thanks
