No Sound or green indicator light
I have a Dimension E 510 computer with A215 speakers. The speakers have stopped working completely and the green indicator light will not come on.
Can someone possible help me to troubleshoot?

If the "green light" you are referring to is on the speakers, check the AC power connection to the AC power outlet and also the power connection to the speakers and make sure it's still connected. The small power transformer that plugs into the AC power receptacle could be defective. If you can determine what the power supply voltage is, you MAY be able to find something that will work at Radio Shack. Otherwise a new speaker system is the only other option. Considering it may cost you $15 or $20 for a new power transformer (if you can find one) the best advice would be to buy a new set of analog powered computer speakers. Most Wal-Mart supercenters have several different price range speaker systems.
