No cursor after Windows keyboard screen appears
If I shut down from a user account then turn on the computer, I get the piano keyboard screen (W8.1) with no cursor. If I move the mouse, the cursor appears and by left clicking I get the log-in screen.
If I shut down from the boot-up screen (the keyboard screen), then turn-on the compuiter, I get the keyboard screen but no cursor. I can't get into the log-in screen. I learned that by switching to a different mouse, I finally get the cursor to log-on.
My question is why is this happening and is there an undocumented way to turn on the cursor.
