Did you install the newest chipset drivers for your system prior to trying to install graphics drivers?

Nvidia's newest drivers should work fine with that card, unless they introduced some bug or something.

Hi, there is a problem with the latest video driver from Nvidia when playing movies which is version 77.72. I would suggest reverting back to the previous version 71.89 or the newest beta driver 77.76 which corrects the problem, but it is still in beta.

Good luck,

Mike

I remember a problem like this with the colors being washed out in movies (and I found a fix for it). Go to your nvidia control panel and go to color correction. Then set the Apply Changes to Overlay and all channels, and then set color profile to advanced mode. Then hit apply and the movies should look fine.

I use Nvidia's newest drivers on my Geforce 4, and haven't noticed any problems with video playback-but then I usually boost the brightness on my video overlay, so maybe that's why.
