OptiPlex 1030
My OptiPlex 3010 had an issue with the 3 4 lights and I fixed it with an answer from a previous post. Now I am getting a blinking blue cylinder shaped light underneath where the 1 2 3 4 lights are located and the computer won't boot. There are no 1 2 3 4 lights lit. The power button is blue. Any help would be appreciated!!

Hi Donnam21
Thanks for writing to us.
As per the brief , the issue could be as simple doing a power cycle or could lead to a hardware issue.
The blue cylindrical light is the hard drive activity light.
Do you see the Dell initially or does the screen stays totally blank?
How about the color of power button light? Do we hear any beeps? are the 1 2 3 4 lights lit in any sequence.
Please do a power cycle by disconnecting the power cable and peripherals and hold down the power button for 10 secs and put back the cable and boot up.
Simultaneously you can remove memory modules and try with one memory at a time, also with and without the graphics card if any.
If the power button light is solid amber, mostly its a motherboard failure, if its a blinking amber, then PSU as well as motherboard are suspected.
Do keep us posted.
Regards
