Optiplex 320 Motherboard upgrade
I would like to up grade a motherboard in a Optiplex 320 and would like to know if I have to worry about anything other then replacing the power supply? The current board only supports 2GB and I want to be able to go to 4GB and not have to spend $1000.00 for a new desktop. Any suggestions

Most Dell systems use custom connectors between the front panel and the motherboard. The wiring on those connectors isn't usually available. So it might not be feasible to replace the motherboard, unless you're willing to buy a new case too, and reuse the CPU, RAM, drives etc. You may also need a new heatsink and CPU fan, so the price starts to mount up.
Don't know what specs you require, but there are a lot of nice desktops under $1000 these days. :emotion-5:
