Optiplex 7040 micro 32GB memory possible
I found the Dell System Owner's Manuals on this page. Is that mean the 7040 micro can support max 32GB memory?

Thanks for writing to us.
The system supports max of 16gb (Dell tested).
The link you provided is taking us to Dell 16gb memory and the compatible system list doesn't list optiplex 7040.

I was trying to find the same answer. I found this page that shows 32GB but other pages show 16BG Max.
What is correct?

32 is not supported.

In the updated OptiPlex 7040M Owner's Manual, 2016 - 07 Rev. A03, page 40, it says
Memory capacity 4 GB, 8 GB, and 16 GB
Maximum memory 32 GB
NOTE: Each memory module slot supports a minimum of 4 GB and a maximum of 16 GB.
But I wonder whether it really supports 32 GB memory.
