Optiplex 740 BIOS Update failure : cannot boot any more
Hello,
A failure occurred during the bios update on an Optiplex 740. Now the computer does not boot and the front light stays solid amber. I have tried to remove the battery and short circuit the reset pins on the motherboard with no success. Is their a way to reset any bios in order to restart the computer ?

There is no BIOS recovery on a Dell. If the BIOS is corrupted the motherboard must be replaced.
