I am familiar with the plastic cover. The Integrated video is not "Deleted".
If you remove the video card and remove the plastic cover the video does in fact work.
I own both styles and the video is not "deleted" that statement is in fact false. Onboard video does not work if a card is installed.
However onboard VGA DOES work if the card is removed. The plastic cover is to keep the user from thinking that onboard video and the X16 video can be used at the same time.
Guys the issue got veered off course it seems. We went from not being able to boot after changing the virtualization settings to talking about onboard video vs expansion card. I have run into the same issue (the original issue of not booting) and basically, after the settings were enabled, the machine gets past the splash screen and thats it. It's completely locked up. can't select boot device, can't get back to BIOS...nothing. My system is sitting here with the VGA cable, a keyboard, and power and I still cannot get anywhere with it. Is there a way to get back into the BIOS to turn off the virtualization settings so that I can operate this box like normal?

You should also try clearing the NVRAM/CMOS using the jumpers on the motherboard.

I have a 755 SFF at work that I just rebuilt and enabled VT with no issues. Not rubbing it in ... just saying it is not a global issue.
If nothing seems to help, reseat the processor (very carefully).

Take out video card and remove ram sticks and test one at a time.

it is certain that if one did "take out the video card" the screen would indeed stay black. :emotion-18:
i am sure that person meant to say that you should try re-seating (removing/reinstalling) the video card, as i previously suggested..

While the 755 does have an X16 video card slot it also has onboard VGA that does operate when the Video card is removed.
Removing all expansion cards and testing Ram one piece at a time is standard troubleshooting methodology.
I said what I meant and I Meant what I said.
I do not grant licence for others to speak for me as to what I mean.
