Optiplex 760 Power suppy unit PSU

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a replacement power supply for an Optiplex 760 SFF late 2008 . The model number of the psu is F305P-00 and 0WU133. I have found that Dell has different versions of the F305P-00.

I am having trouble locating a replacement, and I was wondering if there are compatible PSUs that I can use instead, and what their part numbers would be. I understand that Dell use parts specially made for then as some of the ATX pins are switched around so everything electrical with the power supply  should be the same (same wattage, cables and everything).

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Many thanks!!

Thanks for your reply. I think the PSUs that you found are under powered as the output I have is 305w.

Also the other problem that I should have mentioned is that I am in the UK and I'm trying to source one from here or Europe.

The computer is a CORE 2 DUO E8400 with a 24 pin ATX connector.

Are all PSUs with an ATX connector the same? Can I just buy any 305w or more ATX PSU?

Thanks

The OptiPlex 760 SFF power supply, is a Dell proprietary unit with a micro motherboard power connector, due to it's shape and size, ATX units will not fit the SFF chassis, also the ATX 24-pin P1 power connector will not fit the 760 SFF motherboard's Micro connector, there are no retail compatible power supplies available.
