Optiplex 780 USFF amber light blinking
I have an Optiplex 780 USFF and the amber power light is blinking. I tried to replace the power supply but no change. What could it be? I have held the power button for 30 seconds, reset the CMOS battery. Still nothing. Any ideas? Thanks!

Did you remove the power cord from the tower before pressing the power button for 30 sec? Check the manual for the diagnostic lights on the back of the tower. Those lights will give you more info.

Yes I removed the power plug before pressing the power button. The diagnostic lights on front of pc are not lit. Just blinking amber power light. Thanks.

Blinking Amber Light = Bad Power supply.

Thanks. I tried to change the power supply but to no avail. Unless I got a bad one.
