Optiplex 780 upgrade Graphics Card for Minecraft
i have a dell optiplex 780 (not a mini tower) with a WD 1 terabyte hard drive and 6 gb ram. Every thing else is original. I want to play minecraft but my graphics card is not good enough.
I have windows 7 premium 64 bit.
This is my first PC and I am learning.
What should i get?
Budget $75 or under if possible.

Here's a card for 29 that runs minecraft well. Don't forget to order the adapter. It's low-profile for the non-MT systems.

I thought I needed 512 mb of dedicated video memory.
Is that what this has?

Your form factor is not mini-tower but takes full-height cards? Does it use a riser card?

Your computer will run slower and slower and may freeze/shutdown due to thermal event.
