Optiplex GX 270 Lan Drivers
Hi All,
My Friend has purchased dell optiplex GX270 from his friend.
I have re-installed Windows XP - SP2 in this system but in the device manager in other devices tab it shows a question mark with yellow colour.
So my question is do i need to install any lan drivers for this issue as my friend in future will be using internet services on this pc.
Upto my understanding XP brings with itself vga, lan drivers do i need to download separtely lan drivers if yes.
Then Please suggest where can i get drivers for this or do i have to install external lan card ?
Thanks in advance

singhisking,
* Install the Chipset driver. When done, restart the PC
* Install the Video driver. When done, restart the PC
* Install the NIC/Lan driver. When done, restart the PC
* Install the Audio driver. When done, restart the PC
* Then, open the Device Manager and tell us if there are anymore bangs

It's best not to use the Dell Download Manager for the drivers.
Reading the Wiki HERE and the post by Alexandra_P HERE should help.
Download the drivers to a folder, you need to create on the PC you are using.
After all the drivers are downloaded, connect a USB thumb drive to a USB port and transfer the folder to the drive, using the 'Sent To' Menu.
