Pesky Error Message in Windows 2000
Dimension 8100
I get an error message at what seems to be nearly random times. It went away for a day after I removed some of the Dell E-Support applications, they use a lot of resources and Attune kept freezing my computer, but it is back and pesky as ever. The message says: "WinMgmt.exe has created errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An Error log is being created." It is annoying more than anything, but it comes up about every two or three minutes regardless of use, which makes me think it is some sort of background process. Please let me know.

And all over the registry from there on... Under APPID there is an entry called WinMgmt and another called winmgmt.exe... It appears it is a program in Windows:
C:\WINNT\System32\WBEM\winmgmt.exe
Any more ideas?
