Power Button Dell XPS One 2710

Got the XPS One 2710 November 2012 direct from Dell.  It is running Windows 7 Professional.  It's now January 2013, and I recently went through the Bios updgrade.

However that is not my issue.  In the last day or so I have noticed that I have had to hold down the power button for longer and longer periods for the machine to boot up/start from shutdown.  It's now up to about 15-20 seconds before it does anything.  Once it connects, it boots and runs no problem.  Is this an issue that I should be worried about and which would require a warranty call to Dell?

Thanks in advance for the guidance.

Cheers

Hi Ottvlad,

Yes, it's definitely time for a call to Dell.

I am now having exactly the same XPS One 2710 power button problem that you reported in 2013.  Did you eventually find a solution to this problem?
