Power failure

My Dimension system won't turn on. I have tried various power cables and sockets to no avail. Do I need to reboot the BIOs or something along those lines - and if so what do I do!!!

Invest in a power supply or start troubleshooting by removing modems,etc. and other interface boards installed and see if any of these are keeping your pc from turning on. Also unplug the pc from the power source and plug it back in/and check to make sure you have power by swapping around devices on the power source.

reseat al devices on board and especially the power connector[ translucent white plastic at the end of a thick multicolored bundle of wires]. also swap cables from the monitor to the tower, they are the same type. If no joy and still under warranty ...phone tech support to book an engineer.
