Precision 390 Memory (RAM) upgrade
Hi! I've this motherboard: Intel 0DN075 (in dell precision 390)
1. in product specs they say: "Dual-channel memory requires two each of the same capacity memory DIMMs" ; and "Four DIMM slots support up to 8GB" (http://www.dell.com/downloads/global/products/precn/en/spec_precn_390_en.pdf) Is it possible to use two 4GB RAMs? (cause some posts say it's not possible and only 2GB modules can be used) (if yes: can it handle even four 4GB RAMs?)
2. Is a 800Mhz RAM work correctly in the computer - at 667Mhz - or not?
3. Non-registered RAMs are working now in the PC are registered RAMs working too?
Thanks!

Hi Elellarap,
No, 2x4GB modules will not work.
You can use either ECC or non-ECC but you cannot mix types. You can use either DDR2-667 or DDR2-800 but they'll run at the slower speed regardless.
