The 410 has a maximum Ram of 512Mb if you are using unbuffered.
or 1Gb if you use registered.
But you can't mix the two types.
The jumpers for 500MHz and 550MHz chips are probably missing because your board is an early model. The Precision 410 User manual shows them to be 'reserved'.
I would be interested to know what the fastest Dual Slot 1 processors which the 440BX chipset can support is too if anyone knows...

You cannot mix unbuffered and registered RAM.

You can set the speed jumpers to the slowest speed and use bios A14 to get to dual 800's.
I believe Powerleap Supports 1.4Ghz Tulatin.

Maybe too late for you to care....
I have 2 1000Mhz CPUs. It works great. They cost about $100 each about 2 years ago.
With firmware A14 the jumpers are ignored. The speed is auto detected or something.
I have 1 Gig of registered ram. It was hard to find.
Search the forum, there have been alot of post on the subject over the years.
