Precision T1600 - which CPUs are supported?
Hi All!
Does anyone know what CPUs are supported/work in a Precision T1600? The spec sheet only states
Intel Xeon E3-1200 series or 2nd generation Intel Core™processors.
which isn't really helpful (Dell could really learn a thing or two from HP's quickspecs which list all supported processors for a HP system).
I'm particularly interested in which Core i5 and i7 processors work, as I would like to use an i5-2400 or i7-2600 to upgrade a Precision T1600 (yes, I'm aware that these processors don't support ECC memory).
I'd also like to know if there are any limitations regarding the mainboard version (mine is 6NWYK).
