RAID and Missing File Trouble
I have a brand-new (2004) Dell Dimension XPS. It came configured with 'RAID 0'. Although I cannot speak Japanese well and cannot read it at all, I live in Tokyo. Therefore, I was forced to purchase a computer with Japanese-version of WindowsXp and Japanese-version of Office2000Pro on it. However, Dell-Japan is unable to provide me with English Owners/Users Manual and Computer Documentation. I attempted to download & try a free Spyware software and it identified numerous files that were potentially harmful. I deleted those files. Nothing bad happened for 4 days. Suddenly this week, at every boot-up I get an Error Message on the Desktop that says:
RUNDLL: Download.1..CnsMin.dll Not Found
Additonally (and more scary) at every Boot-up, I encountered an Error Message on the set-up screen that says:
RAID Volume
ID Name: WDC WD2500JD-75G
Level: WD-WMAEP2979671
Status: ERROR OCCURED
I do not know how to fix this. I do not know if running a systems maintenance program, or a scan of Drive C will correct this error, or if I should instead use the reset feature to return it to a previous configuration. Is it necessary to reinstall all of the WindowsXP software, and if so, will that erase all of my current files and settings?
Can anyone give me advice on how to remedy these problems? Please post here or contact me directly at:

cnsmin.dll is a hijacker. you won't miss it.
You should have a program called Intel Application Accelerator. If not, download it from the download section at www.intel.com
It should tell you the status of your drives. Although I must say that if you are in Raid 0, you probably don't have a catastrophic failure.
You can download the English documentation on this website. Just go to the top left of the page, hover over product support, then click user guides, then follow the path to the user guide for your XPS.
Good luck! Also, you might want to avoid publishing your email address in public forums, so as to cut down on spam finding you.
