RE; DELL W1900 PICTURE RESOLUTION DISPLAY
MY LCD W1900 DELL WHICH IS MY DESKTOP KEEP SHOWING : CANNOT DISPLAY THIS VEDIO MODE, CHANGE COMPUTER DISPLAY INPUT TO 1280X768@60HZ: EACH TIME I WANT TO CHANGE TO VGA MODE. IVE TRIED DOING THIS BUT COULD NOT GET THE SETTING, PLEASE HELP

Thanks for your concern, the Modell is W1900 dell monitor and my operating system is window XP.. thanks.

The monitor is dell w1900 while the cpu is compaq but the problem is from my dell monitor not the cpu, Ive got the same problem 2 yrs back which was solve through this forum. thanks

Ok, no problem. So help me with the details. You've got the monitor connected via VGA, right? And you've tried setting the resolution to 1280x768? What happens then? What resolution does work?
