Drivers on Dell's Support page for the R4 are likely to be more recent than what's on your Resources DVD, so you should download them from the site and save on USB or other external device for installation on the R4.
You probably will get a better response to your other questions if you re-post in the Alienware Club forum. And it might be a good idea to provide details of your problems and why you want to reinstall Windows. Maybe somebody over there can help you fix things without having to do a clean reinstall...
