Realtek mixer internal input

I have a Dell Inspirion 530 ( Vista Home Pemium) that comes with onboard Realtek HD Audio, i mis the "Wave out mix" to record audio from the on board player or sound from Home pages with an audio editor.
Is there a solution to get that played sound direct to the input of Realtek sound device.

Tanks in advance, Nico Huijg.

Dell, for whatever reason, does not implement the "what you hear" or system mixer on their Integrated Audio systems.  There is no workaround that I know of.  You can check the web to see if there is a hack, but if you find one  you use it at your own risk.

This is the solution of my problem, i find out on the internet,

Here is how to get stereo mix on the Realtek HD.....

Go to 'Control Panel' (Classic View) >>'Sound'

Select the 'Recording' Tab.

Right click on 'Microphone' in the window.

Tick 'Show Disabled Devices' and 'Show Disconnected Devices'

As if by magic 'Stereo Mix' now appears in the list, select it at click on 'Set Default

Thanks to Tuney, from the videohelp.com forum.

Downloaded and installed the "new" drivers from Dell's web site. After checking the sound card in device manager, it still showed the driver was from Microsoft and dated back to 2006. Don't know where Dell got the drivers from but they obviously didn't work and the Stereo Mix didn't show up. I went to Realtek's website and downloaded the drivers for my Realtek ALC888. After that, I was able to see the Stereo Mix option and now I can record from the sound card using Sound Recorder or Audacity. Visit http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads to get the updated drivers. Drivers are dated 12/25/07 Thanks!
