Reinstall Windows Embedded OS on Optiplex FX170 thin client?

Hi I bought a Optiplex FX170 thin client from ebay. It already had Windows Embedded installed on it (not sure if it was WES 2009 or WES7. Anyways, I deleted the partition and installed DeTOS on it. Now I want to reinstall WES back on it. I am completely confused, this is my first time working with a thin client.

I found this page with links to all the images:

http://ftp.dell.com/Pages/Drivers/optiplex-fx170.html

I think I downloaded the first one, Windows Embedded Standard 2009 - WDM. extracted the file. has many directories includes an .rsp file and  a separate directory with .img files. I download the Wyse USB Firmware Tool and tried using that. Selected the configure a new USB key and push firmware to it. selected the .rsp file but it gives me an error while creating the key, saying usb is either less than 1gb (its a 15GB usb...) or image isnt the correct one.

I'm lost and I just want to get the WES back on my thinclient.

Dell doesn't support OS reinstalls on computers purchased from EBAY.

You could get pro support but its not free and likely costs more than what you paid for that unit which is end of life.

The latest firmware for your Linux and WES (all versions) thin clients: http://www.wyse.com/downloads. None of the old or new firmware tools I tried would work under Win10, and so I used an old XP box. Have a peek a this post for other options: http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/wyse_thin_clients/f/4947/p/19677013/20998362#20998362
