Remove Screen Savers

I have a Dimension 8100 I am using windows me . I was wondering if any one could tell me how to get rid of screen savers with no uninstall? These screen savers do not show up in the add & remove programs or have a uninstall. The only way I have gotten rid of them in the past is to restore to an earlier date . But there has to be a better way. This has been bugging me for quit some time, any input would be greatly appreaciated.
Thank you very much!

To turn off your Screen Saver:
Right Click in an unused area of your Desktop.
Select Properties from the drop down menu.
Select the Screen Saver Tab.
Select 'None'. Apply. OK

To delete specific Screen Savers:
Go to Start\Find>Files and Folders.
Type in **.scr
Look in 'My Computer'.
Click 'Find Now'.
Locate the Screen Saver you want to delete
from the list.
Right Click and select Delete.
