Resolution Issue with W1900 LCD TV

Received an optiplx gx620 with a W1900 LCD TV. It came with the onboard INTEL 82945 chipset (even though I ordered an ATI card but that's a different story). The highest resolution is 1280 X 1024 and the quality is not as sharp as expected. I can't believe DELL's level of standards have dropped so low that they can't ship parts that work together. The highest resolution the drivers can go is 1280 x 1024. INTEL state the highest their driver can go is 2048 x 1536. Does this mean the W1900 LCD TTV can only go up to 1280 x 1024?

The native resolution of your TV is only WXGA (1280x768).  Set your computer display resolution to that and you'll see the best possible picture.

LCD TV's almost always have lower resolutions then equally priced dedicated computer monitors.  In fact, not many have very high resolutions at all, regardless of size.
