You have to be careful with Dell OEM Version SoundBlaster cards in older systems. Most of these were custom Dell models and not exactly like the Retail models. On the SoundBlaster Audigy ZS (Dell model) the Retail drivers will work OK, but most earlier Dell SoundBlaster cards must have the Dell drivers - either the Retail SoundBlaster will not work or they will not provide full functionality to the Dell custom model board.
