Screen Saver Issues?

Question

I have tried several screen savers and when I tell it to start in 10 minutes, it never comes up after inactivity.   This is using the Dell Image for MCE, not a clean XP install.   Anyone else having this problem?   This is on an XPS 700, WinXP MCE with latest patches from MSFT.

I have heard other people mention this problem, but I can't remember what threads they were on. I have had no issues with this so far ao I have no idea how to fix this. Sorry, and good luck. I will see if I can locate the other threads. Now that I think about it, what graphics drivers are you using? I seem to remember someone saying that this happened after updating their drivers. I was able to fix the problem by removing some of the Dell media from starting during system boot. Now my screen saver starts just fine.   I ran msconfig and removed several of the startup items related to Dell Media.
