Screen Saver will not come on

I have it set to 4 minutes and the monitor does not go into the screen saver.

Tried to adjust to 1 minute and that didn't help either.

Just wondering what might be up.

Are you using a MS wireless mouse?

thanks. I previously downloaded most of the updates, however there were 3 "optional" updates which I'm now downloading. I'll let you now what happens.

To resolve this issue, plug in a wireless receiver, and then check for updates. To do this, visit the following Microsoft Windows Update Web site:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/)

Install the Optional Hardware Update that is named Microsoft HID Non-User Input Data Filter.
