Screen won't "scroll" properly?
My system is a Dimension XPS400 with a Geoforce 7300LE.
The problem i'm encountering is that after a blue screen of death incident following either wife/kids monkeying with computer or act-of-God (neither will admit to it so far), I required Dell tech support, out of warranty, to get computer up and running again. All seemed fine, except now when I scroll on a screen that is graphics heavy, like an adobe file or the internet (even this screen i'm typing on) ... it is really slow to "refresh". I can watch a line go down the screen as I scroll, doesn't do this at my work computer so I know something's up. Not sure if I'm describing the problem correctly, computers not my forte.
Pretty sure it is a video type problem and maybe involves the video card but not much idea how to find out or fix it. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Pete

A lot of times fried video hardware causes visible artifacts on the screen (though possibly not always).
