The Serial number is the SERVICE TAG.
The service tag can be found several ways:
1. On the box the tower came in.
2. In the system setup (Press F2 at boot)
3. On a white tag with a barcode on the back of the tower
4. On a sticker on the side of the tower or under the front panel flap if an 8300.
5. Start, all programs, Dell Installed Programs, Express Service code
6. on your invoice that came with the system.
Thanks
I found near the bottom of my invoice, there is a " System Service Tags G97FQ31 "
Is this the "serial number" of my computer, cause I bought a Digital Camera which includes a bundle MIR, the rebate requires the "serial number" of the Dell Computer.
