Sleep - NOT hibernate
Dell Inspiron Desktop 3000 Series, Model 3647 -Woiuld like to be able to put to sleep, not hibernate, but a search only turns up how to hibernate....

Meant to say I want a shortcut to Sleep

From your Start Icon when selected, you will see Shut down with an > place you curser over it you will see the option Sleep. Not sure if you can make a desktop shortcut.

I looked for a Desktop Short cut, no good. How about if you go to DESKTOP> SYSTEMS>POWER OPTIONS> CHANGE WHEN THE COMPUTER SLEEPS. See if this might help
